Abstract:

At the Hospital Executive Briefings in September, George Mills, senior engineer in the Joint Commission Standards Interpretation Group, unveiled the concept of “Coffee with the Crew,” encouraging CEOs to meet with facilities staff and engineers to gain a better understanding of their facility's operations and short-term and long-term needs. This article provides strategies for CEOs to set up these types of programs in their organization.
