Abstract:

This article corrects the scoring category designation for Standard MS.4.30, Element of Performance (EP) 1, for the critical access hospital and hospital programs, effective immediately. The correct scoring category designation for EP 1 of Standard MS.4.30 is an "A;" it is incorrectly identified as a "B" in The Joint Commission's Periodic Performance Review system.
