Abstract:

This article announces The Joint Commission's Board of Commissioners' approval of revisions to the "Leadership" (LD) chapter for all accreditation programs, effective January 1, 2009. The chapter was revised as part of the Joint Commission's Standards Improvement Initiative, the renewal process to ensure that standards remain current and relevant.
