Abstract:

This article introduces the 2008 accreditation decision rules that have been approved by the Joint Commission's Accreditation Committee, which includes two new rules in the Denial of Accreditation category. The 2008 accreditation decision rules are effective for surveys conducted beginning January 1, 2008.
