Update: Cooperative Accreditation Initiative
Source: Joint Commission Perspectives, Volume 26, Number 4, April 2006 , pp. 4-4(1)
Publisher: Joint Commission Resources
Abstract:
Previous modifications to the cooperative accreditation initiative necessitate the termination of two agreements—In 2005, the Joint Commission revised the participation requirements for the Cooperative Accreditation Initiative, and one of the revisions required that a cooperative partner demonstrates that it accredits at least 100 organizations that are components of existing Joint Commission–accredited organizations. This change affects the collaborative relationship between the Joint Commission and the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP), as well as the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).Document Type: Research article
