Located on the congested near west side of Chicago, Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital has provided its patients with an expansive, 10,000-square-foot healing garden—on its rooftop. This article discusses how the beautiful healing garden aids patient recovery, how the garden went from an idea to a reality, and the benefits that both hospital and patients have received from this project.
