Abstract:

Standard EC.5.50 requires organizations to implement appropriate ILSMs any time a building falls out of compliance with the Life Safety Code® (LSC) and the deficiency cannot be corrected immediately. Many maintenance activities can temporarily compromise a building's fire protection features, as can emergency or other situations.
