Abstract:
The paper discusses recent developments in web technologies based on collaborative tagging. This approach is seen as a tremendously powerful way to coordinate the ontologies and views of a large number of individuals, thus constituting the most successful tool for distributed cognition so far.Keywords: collaborative tagging; distributed cognition; semiotic dynamics
