Abstract:

Ours goals are to realize a semi-automatic annotation of texts in the field of feeling and emotion, then to navigate through a text following specific criteria such as tracking a specified emotion or following what a specific person feels.

The annotating process is made with an ontology of feelings. This ontology has been built from a semantic lexicon which contains thousands of French words expressing feeling, emotion or psychological state. We propose a semantic classification, in which these words are split into 38 semantic classes, according to their meanings. A set of syntactic and semantic properties is associated to each class and to each word.

We describe the semi-automatic annotation of a text extracted from the novel Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert. This annotated text has been implemented with NaviTexte workstation in order to propose several navigation tracks through this text.

Nous avons réalisé une annotation semi-automatique d'un texte dans le domaine des sentiments à l 'aide d'une ontologie, puis utilisé cette annotation pour proposer des pistes de lecture de ce texte, selon différents critères tels que la recherche d'un sentiment particulier, ou la mise en évidence des sentiments successifs ressentis par un personnage spécifique.

Nous avons construit cette ontologie des sentiments à partir d'un lexique sémantique qui comporte un millier de mots exprimant des sentiments, des émotions et des états psychologiques. Ces mots sont répartis en 38 classes sémantiquement homogènes. À ces mots et à ces classes, nous avons associé un ensemble de propriétés syntaxiques et sémantiques.

Nous décrivons le processus d'annotation à l 'aide d'un exemple extrait de Madame Bovary de Gustave Flaubert. Nous avons implémenté ce texte annoté dans la station de travail informatique NaviTexte ce qui permet de proposer une navigation à travers cet extrait, avec des critères spécifiés.
