Abstract:
WTO's Tourism Market Trends, Edition 2002 series of regional reports offers a comprehensive and timely analysis of tourism trends in the world and the various regions, sub-regions and countries. The six volumes of the series contain a consistent set of 2001 results including a detailed examination of the effects on international tourism of the 11 September attacks and the economic downturn experienced in 2001. Furthermore, this year's series also pays special attention to the International Year of Ecotourism celebrated in 2002.
