IOS Press

IOS Press is a rapidly expanding Scientific, Technical, Medical and Professional publishing house focusing on a broad range of subject areas.

IOS Press was established in 1987 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Over the recent years IOS Press has build a steady journal list. Journals representing many scientific fields are published. Some established journals were taken over from other publishers, like Breast Disease or Environmental Policy and Law. Others were initiated by IOS Press and have developed over years into respectable sources of scientific information. Topics are Artificial Intelligence, Medicine, Rehabilitation, Cancer Research, Computer Science but we also publish in many other fields of science. We also publish around 100 books per year. In 1997 IOS Press was awarded some of the prestigious NATO Advanced Sciences book series. Many high-level books are published in this series, some written or edited by Nobel prize winners.
