Abstract:

K x-ray relative intensities of Tm, Yb, Lu, Ta, W, Re, Au, Hg, Tl, Pb, Bi, Th and U elements have been measured. The 57Co radioisotope source was used for excitation of the elements and characteristic x-rays were counted with a Ge(Li) detector. The experimental results were compared with the theoretical results of Scofield's values. The intensity ratio values of K2'/K1' and K2'/K1 are plotted versus atomic number.
