A soundtrack between allurement and repulsion: Gentle and threatening tones
Abstract:By mixing industrial, metallic sounds and organic, throaty sounds, Kitchen Sink creates an acoustic universe that is at once repulsive and alluring. The article takes a phenomenological and deep listening approach to investigate how the soundtrack of Kitchen Sink contributes to the ambiguous narrative of the film.
