Abstract:

Eyet-Chékib Djaziri est un écrivain franco-tunisien gay qui dans son premier roman `autobiographique' (Un poisson sur la balançoire) décrit sa vie d'adolescent `libéré' dans le Tunis bourghibien des années soixante-dix jusqu'à son départ pour la France à 17 ans. Éric Levéel, auteur de cet article-entrevue, a rencontré le romancier le 23 juin 2003 à Paris et pendant deux heures lui a posé de nombreuses questions sur son travail d'écriture, son existence tunisienne et son homosexualité revendiquée dans sa vie comme dans ses écrits. À l'aide de notes prises lors de cette entrevue, Éric Levéel a tenté de retranscrire subjectivement une conversation vivante et objective. Les auteurs maghrébins ouvertement gays étant très rares, l'auteur a voulu comparer brièvement Eyet-Chékib Djaziri avec le Marocain Rachid O. mais également analyser une vie singulière à la lumière de l'existentialisme beauvoirien et un livre selon le plaisir de la jouissance textuelle chère à Roland Barthes.
