Documenting children's dialogue: a hermeneutic phenomenological approach

This paper reports on the author's experiments with the Reggio Emilia approach to pedagogy in an informal learning context in Korea. It explicates a hermeneutic study method she has developed over time as a means for interpreting young children's dialogue and determining the study themes and expressive modes teachers might use to build on their life experience and extend their meaning making abilities.
