A few months after Vivian Shen's interview, under different circumstances unrelated to her meeting, I also spoke with Cheng Jihua.

The interview took place at China Film Archive, October 9, 1996. Wang Rui, senior research fellow, China Film Archive, served as interpreter; Director Sang Hu was also present.

Though the transcript of the interview is rather short, owing to only 45 minutes being available and Cheng's asking me questions, the information he provided is rather important.
