Abstract:

In this paper, presented to the 'Licensing in Europe' Conference, 23-24 June 1988, London, the Secretary-General of the International Chamber of Commerce's Court of Arbitration describes the Court's process of arbitration in international commercial disputes. He also describes improvements in speed, the reduction of costs, and changes in the rules of arbitration which have occurred over the past several years.
