Abstract:

This article examines the relationship between networking and entrepreneurial ventures. Based on the results of two exploratory studies, we reviewed recent literature to summarise the latest research on entrepreneurial use of networking. Based on this review, eight propositions were developed to better articulate alternate approaches to our understanding of the use of networking by entrepreneurs and their benefits. We conclude with a discussion of the research and managerial implications of our findings.
