IMA Fungus logo IMA - International Mycological Association logo

Scope: All aspects of pure and applied mycological research and news.
Aims: To be the flagship journal of the International Mycological Association. IMA Fungus is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, full colour, fast-track journal. Published papers are immediately distributed to several libraries (for effective publication under the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature). The journal strongly supports good practice policies, and requires herbarium voucher specimens to be deposited in a herbarium with an online database, cultures and DNA in long-term genetic resource collections, sequences in GenBank, alignments in TreeBASE, and taxonomic novelties in MycoBank.
