Abstract:
A moderate increase in physical activity and a detailed and tailored Mediterranean-style diet reduce the prevalence of metabolic syndrome and associated cardiovascular risks through reducing systemic vascular inflammation and endothelium dysfunction, particularly in those patients who do not lose weight.Document Type: Review article
