Abstract:
In this closing article we will review 'good practice' in relation to immersions, while also noting the difficulties in reaching any meaningful assessment of their long-term impact. We will discuss the ethical dilemmas they raise, and argue that the next phase of immersion practice should find more creative ways of letting the voices of the hosts be heard, and of trying to answer the question posed in the introduction: 'What would those living in poverty want us to do?'Document Type: Miscellaneous
