Lectotypification of Echites campanulata Sessé & Moç. (Apocynaceae)

Abstract:
A lectotype is designated for Echites campanulata Sessé & Moç. The lectotype is identified as Laubertia contorta (Mart. & Gal.) Woodson, making E. campanulata a synonym of that name, and provides a further step towards a full account of the species of Echites described by Sessé and Moçiño.Keywords: APOCYNACEAE; ECHITES; LAUBERTIA; MOCINO; NOMENCLATURE; SESSE; TYPIFICATION
