Abstract:
The efficacy and safety of trabeculectomy surgery was assessed for treatment of uncontrolled open-angle glaucoma in eyes previously treated with just topical medication (118 eyes) or argon laser trabeculoplasty (65 eyes). Trabeculectomy after failure of argon laser trabeculoplasty has proved to be as effective and safe as trabeculectomy without prior laser application.Document Type: Miscellaneous
