Hampshire Field Club and Archaeological Society
The Hampshire Field Club and Archaeological Society was founded in 1885 and for over one hundred years has been Hampshire's most active association for the study of the county's past and natural history. It has a regularly issued journal, Hampshire Studies (formerly the Proceedings of the Hampshire Field Club and Archaeological Society, and still named as such for the purposes of academic references), that publishes articles on natural history, geology, landscape, archaeology, history, historic buildings and industrial monuments.
