Turkey represents an interesting case of CSR agendas in the developing world. The dual contexts of a maturing democracy, increasing civil involvement and both formal and informal international pressure to safeguard the environment, human rights and workers' rights have brought about substantial progress on some fronts, but Turkey still has a long way to go.
