Abstract:Colombia is an Andean country, the fourth largest in South America, with a cultural diversity comprising Spanish, indigenous and African traditions. The culture is particularly marked by the Spanish, who conquered the continent centuries ago. This is evident in the organisation of society in a highly stratified social class system, as well as Spanish architecture, sports and cultural traditions, besides the language and Catholic religion.
