Abstract:Bangladesh is a densely populated developing country of 145 million people which provides many different perspectives on the role of CSR.
Since gaining independence in 1971, the main drivers of its traditionally agricultural economy have been an export-led ready-made garments industry, which employs over 1.5 million workers. Other export industries include tanneries, tea, generic pharmaceuticals and seafood.
