Summary and conclusions
Abstract:Two primary questions formed the basis for this research. First, we sought to provide an understanding of the various management systems implemented by enterprises at both the MNE and the supplier level to establish, communicate, implement and evaluate progress towards attaining the social objectives represented in their voluntary code–ofconduct commitments. Second, we sought to evaluate the dynamic of how these management systems are linked between MNEs and supplier levels, and how they interact.
