Abstract:
Frailty has attracted increasing attention in the medical literature over the last 20 years. What is it? Why is it important? How does it arise? Can it be recognized? What is recommended for its management? In this review we try to address all these questions and also assess what has to be done to further our understanding of frailty and its management. Keywords: exercise; frailty; geriatric syndrome; nutrition
