Abstract:

The restraining table described in this note was developed several years ago for experimental work on the humoral control of biting in mosquitoes and for transplantation experiments with filariae. We have found the apparatus to be highly useful for this purpose. Successful use of the table for implantation and transplantation experiments by colleagues, to whom we have demonstrated the apparatus, in America and elsewhere, has prompted us to publish a description of the table.
