Abstract:

Concentrations of 1 and 2% fenitrothion were evaluated vs. 0.5% lindane and a control for their ability to prevent tree mortality from attacking Dendroctonus frontalis Zimmermann. A 2% concentration of fenitrothion was as effective as lindane in prevention of attack, whereas the 1% fenitrothion concentration was not.
