Abstract:

The relative efficiency of Leggett and Story® pheromone traps in capturing Anthonomus grandis grandis Boheman was compared in a noncompetitive situation in central Texas. The pattern of seasonal response of the boll weevil to the traps was similar to that reported in other areas. Throughout the growing season, Leggett traps were significantly more efficient than Story traps.
