Abstract:
Myzus persicae (Sulzer) over wintered anholocyclicly on kale, cabbage, turnips, and wild host plants during 1963-67 in central Kentucky. The aphid's capability to over winter in this manner appears to depend on the ability of the host plant to over winter. Over wintering as eggs on Prunus species was rare and few fundatrigniae, compared with the number of virginogeniae, were found.Document Type: Research article
