Abstract:A new technique was used in the laboratory to determine the effectiveness of 62 compounds in dry Sugar baits against a susceptible and a resistant strain of house flies, Musca domestica L. Twenty-nine compounds were superior to the standard, trichlorfon. The resistant strain showed more than 2-fold cross-resistance to all compounds except naled.
