Abstract:

Experiments were conducted in several locations in Alabama during the 3-year period 1962 through 1964 for control of thrips on seedling cotton. Where thrips were abundant enough to cause plant damage, control resulted in more uniform and vigorous plants. However, thrips control had no influence on rate of maturity or on total yield of seed cotton.
