These experiments were conducted to determine the most effective and practical methods for fowl mite control under modern poultry husbandry practices. Ronnel, SevinĀ® (1-naphthyl N-mt'thylearbamate), and Co-ralĀ®(O,O-diethyl 0-3-chloro-4- methyl-2-oxo-2ll-l-benzopyrun-7-yl phosphorothioate) proved most effective, in that order, for control of the northern fowl mite on chickens.
