Abstract:
The scientific and common names of the insects Lygus elisus Van Duzee and Lygus hesperus Knight have been confused. The insects are now known to be distinct species and are therefore raised from the rank of variety to that of species. Differences between the two insects are given and new common names are proposed.Document Type: Research article
