This article attempts to explore this issue through a case study illustrating the implications and impact of age-related disabilities on employment. The consequences of this for provision could result in an increased demand on services. However a way to address this issue is to access each case on an individual basis. This may mean turning away an individual if their support needs are above and beyond what a service can provide within its remit.
