Abstract:
This report on community initiatives to improve racial relations in Charlotte, N.C., comes from a report entitled "Community Change Processes and Progress in Addressing Racial Inequities," which was undertaken and written by Maggie Potapchuk in partnership with The Aspen Institute Roundtable on Community Change. The Annie E. Casey Foundation funded the study. Another case history from that report—on the Seattle city government's Race and Social Justice Initiative—was reprinted in the summer issue of The Diversity Factor.Document Type: Research article
