The manuscript tradition of the ‘Saxon Mirror' with more than 460 copies is only partially accessible via internet resources. This contribution aims to give an overview about the tools currently available online, especially concerning the four illuminated manuscripts which have already been digitized. The Wolfenbüttel copy (Herzog August Bibliothek, Cod. Guelf. 3.1 Aug. 2°) is accessible via www.sachsenspiegel-online.de with digital facsimile, transcription and translation of the text and detailed commentary on the illustrations.
