The characterization of an elastic plate can be done thanks to its cut-off frequencies of symmetric and anti-symmetric Lamb acoustic waves propagating in the target and its transversal and longitudinal velocities of the constituent material of plate. In this article, we have used the time-frequency representation of Wigner-Ville. This representation is applied on the acoustic experimental response backscattered by an elastic aluminium plate of different thickness. This technique is used in this work to access to the sought parameters. The transversal and longitudinal velocities determined by the time-frequency images are in good agreement with the aluminium velocities given in the scientific literature.

La caractérisation d'une plaque élastique peut se faire à partir des fréquences de coupures des ondes acoustiques de Lamb, symétriques et antisymétriques, se propagent dans la cible, et de sa vitesse transversale et longitudinale du matériau constituant la plaque. Dans cet article, nous avons utilisé la représentation temps-fréquence de Wigner-Ville. Cette représentation est appliquée sur la réponse expérimentale acoustique rétrodiffusée par une plaque élastique d'aluminium de différentes épaisseurs. Cette technique est utilisée dans ce travail pour accéder aux paramètres recherchés. Les vitesses transversale et longitudinale déterminées par l'image temps-fréquence sont en bon accord avec celles de l'aluminium données dans la littérature scientifique.
