Abstract:

We propose a new method for approximate calculations of problems of geometrical acoustics, where arbitrary reflection laws can be considered and multiple reflections of all orders are taken into account. We employ the method to noise enhancement problems due to reflection effects in streets with buildings on both sides.

Es wird ein neues Näherungsverfahren für Aufgaben vorgeschlagen, die im Rahmen der geometrischen Akustik beschrieben werden können. Das neue Verfahren gestattet, beliebige Reflexionsgesetze zu modellieren und Mehrfachreflexionen aller Ordnungen automatisch zu berücksichtigen. Die Methode wird auf Probleme zur Lärmerhöhung durch Reflexionseffekte in beidseitig bebauten Straßen angewand.
