Temperature and Pressure Dependence of Thermoacoustical Parameters of Liquid Argon and Xenon
Abstract:Thermoacoustical parameters of liquid argon and xenon are calculated over a wide range of temperature and pressure on the assumption that the isochoric temperature coefficient of the bulk modulus is an important factor. The Sharma parameter (S 0), which is the characteristic of molten alkali halides and polymers has also been shown to be the characteristic of liquid Ar and Xe at various temperatures and pressures. A relation between isobaric, isothermal and isochoric acoustical parameters have been examined and analyzed for both the liquids.
