Abstract:

The frequency response of microphones of sound level meters is found to be altered by ±3.5 dB and ± 2 dB if an operator stands 0.5 m behind the microphone in summer- and winter-clothing, respectively. In comparison to these effects, the influence of the shape of the casing is found to be almost negligible if the microphone is located 0.1 m in front of a pyramid with an angle smaller than 50°.

Zusammenfassung

Durch Bedienpersonen, die im Abstand von 0,5 m hinter dem Mikrophon von Schallpegelmeßgeräten in Sommer- bzw. in Winterkleidung stehen, wird deren Frequenzgang um bis zu ± 3,5 dB bzw. ± 2 dB verändert. Demgegenüber ist der Einfluß der Form des Schallmeßgerätes meist zu vernachlässigen, wenn sich das Mikrophon wenigstens 0,1 m vor einer Pyramide befindet, deren Spitzenwinkel kleiner als 50° ist.

La présence d'un opérateur se tenant à une distance de 0,5 m derrière le microphone d'un appareil de mesure du niveau sonore peut altérer la réponse en fréquence de ce microphone de ± 3,5 dB si l'opérateur est en costume d'été et de ±2 dB s'il est en costume d'hiver. Par contre l'influence de la forme de l'appareillage de mesure pourra en général être négligée si le microphone est placé au moins à 10 centimètres du sommet d'une pyramide d'angle au sommet inférieur à 50°.
