Abstract:

Multi modal analysis for the transmission of sound through a cavity backed panel, and, cavity backed double panel are extended here to consider the case of a cavity backed sill, panel and reveal. In the process, formulations for a panel partially covering its containing wall are derived, and modal coupling coefficients appropriate for this case are formulated.

Zusammenfassung

Die Multimodalanalyse für den Durchgang von Schall durch Einfach- und Doppelpaneele vor einem Hohlraum wird hier auf den Fall Fensterbank-Paneel-Fensterrahmen vor einem Hohlraum ausgedehnt. In dem Prozeß werden Ansätze für ein Paneel, welches teilweise die aufnehmende Wand überdeckt, abgeleitet, und für diesen Fall zutreffende modale Kopplungskoeffizienten werden formuliert.

L'analyse multimodale, qui avait été appliquée précédemment à la transmission du son à travers un panneau simple, puis un panneau double adossés è une cavité, est étendue ici au calcul de la transmission à travers une configuration composée d'une fenêtre et de son embrasure, le tout adossé à une cavité. Au cours du travail on est amené à considérer le cas d'un panneau recouvrant partiellement le mur qui le contient et Ton obtient les formules des coefficients de couplage des modes appropriée à ce cas.
