Abstract:

A new integral representation describing aeroacoustic sound generation by unsteady subsonic flow fields is developed. A substantial advantage of this method consists in the linear dependence of the source distribution upon the flow quantities, namely upon the time derivative of the vorticity fluctuations. In addition the ordinary Green's function is replaced by a vector Green's function, which in general can easily be determined.

Zusammenfassung

Eine neue Integraldarstellung zur Beschreibung aeroakustischer Schallerzeugung durch instationäre Unterschallströmungen wird entwickelt. Der wesentliche Vorteil dieser Methode besteht darin, daß die Quellverteilung nur linear von den Strömungsgrößen abhängt, und zwar von der Zeitableitung der Wirbelverteilung. Die gewöhnliche Greensche Funktion wird hierbei durch eine Greensche Vektorfunktion ersetzt, die im allgemeinen einfach bestimmt werden kann.

On a développé une nouvelle représentation intégrale pour décrire l'émission sonore aéroacoustique par des champs d'écoulements fluides subsoniques instationnaires. Un important avantage de cette méthode réside dans la dépendance linéaire de la distribution de sources en fonction des paramètres de l'écoulement et principalement de la dérivée temporelle des fluctuations des tourbillons. De plus la fonction de Green habituelle est remplacée par une fonction de Green vectorielle qui en général peut se déterminer aisément.
