A three-channel correlation of narrow-band signals is described, which serves for accurate frequency measurement and spatial direction finding. The evaluation of the general formula employs an algorithm suitable for quick digital data-processing. It concerns short-time correlation and an averaging technique. From the results of the computer simulation a quantitative relation is derived between the signal-to-noise ratio and the angular error.


Es wird eine dreikanalige Korrelation von schmalbandigen Signalen beschrieben, die der genauen Frequenzbestimmung und der räumlichen Richtungsermittlung dient. Zur Auswertung der allgemeinen Formeln dient ein für schnelle digitale Datenverarbeitung geeigneter Algorithmus. Er betrifft Kurzzeitkorrelationen und eine Mittelungstechnik. Mit Ergebnissen von Rechnersimulationen werden quantitative Zusammenhänge zwischen dem Signal-Rausch-Abstand und dem Winkelfehler dargestellt.


On décrit un dispositif de corrélation à trois canaux pour signaux à bande étroite, destiné à la détermination précise des fréquences et à la transmission des orientations spatiales. Les formules générales du calcul sont exploitées au moyen d'un algorithme spécial adapté au traitement rapide des données numérales. Il comporte des corrélations sur durées brèves et une technique de «moyennage» assortie. Des calculs de simulation ont mis en évidence des relations quantitatives entre le rapport signal/bruit et les erreurs angulaires d'orientation.
