Abstract:
Tourist safety is a timely topic, and perhaps this compilation was rather rushed to print to capitalize on that. Coverage is opportunistic rather than comprehensive. Except for Alan Ewert and a colleague from the University of Indiana, most of the authors seem to be associates of the editors in Scotland, Auckland, and southeast Queensland. This is not to doubt the expertise of the authors included, but surely there must be many others worldwide who could have made equally cogent contributions.Document Type: Review article
