Social Risk Management (SRM) is a concept first proposed by the World Bank, in 1999, as a new type of social protection policy. The connotation of the book's focus is on the concept of social risk management, the theory of its origins and an in-depth discussion about the role in social risk management of government, corporations, and NGOs. It analysis of the characteristics of the risks faced by China's current social environment and social risks based on the research, combined with practice and experience of the Jiangsu Province's social risk management. The book finally proposes ideas and countermeasures of social risk management in a Harmonious Society.
