Abstract:

The European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology met at the London Excel Centre in October 2005. This regular meeting, which is generally dominated by plenary reviews and educational symposia, is the largest of its kind in Europe and brings together experts in the fields of sexually transmitted infection and dermatology. Several presentations reviewed the importance of herpes infections in the area of dermatovenereology.
